Meran, the well known spa town where the 300 sunny days a year pamper its guests, is called the pearl of Tyrol. The Mediterranean climate of Meran allows the many selected grapes in the vineyards to flourish. Powerful, elegant and beneficial wines are produced at the winery "Meraner Weinkellerei". Thereafter, in 1920, the nephew Cavalier Mario Balugani engaged in the art of creating Lambrusco wine with a deep love, a process starting from the vineyard and ending with the bottle. Today visiting our company you can enjoy the breathtaking view from the ridge from which in beautiful symmetry span out the rows of vines th

Great passions are often sparked by little seeds. The history of Apollonio winery dates back to 1870, in the aftermath of the Italian unification. It was in the south of the Salento region – where most people made a living out of wine – that the story of Apollonio’s family began; such has succeeded in exporting Salento’s high-quality wine tradition all over the world thanks to its passion and hard work. It was 1870 when Noč Apollonio planted his own vineyard and produced wine for the first time. He did not lack experience, which he had inherited it from his father Tommaso (a producer and wine merchant born in 1828), and his grandfather Giuse
